NATO DIANA Selects First Five Companies for Mission Track Program

NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) has selected the first five companies for its new Mission Track program.

Mission Track is a follow-on element of the DIANA accelerator program available to companies that have demonstrated strong defense relevance and alignment with allied requirements.

The five firms were chosen from DIANA’s 2026 accelerator cohort of 150 startups and technology firms, which were selected from more than 3,600 applications.

Participants will receive up to 300,000 euros ($346,000) in additional funding, along with testing opportunities and adoption support intended to help move technologies closer to military use across the alliance.

The program will run for approximately five to seven months and focus on technology validation, refining operational applications, and addressing barriers to fielding systems at scale.

“NATO DIANA’s Mission Track is where innovation moves from promise to capability, helping innovators go the extra mile towards adoption,” stated Jyoti Hirani-Driver, Managing Director of NATO DIANA.

First Mission Track Cohort

Up to 15 companies are expected to join Mission Track, with additional selections planned in the coming months.

The first group includes firms working in areas such as deployable manufacturing, communications, power generation, geospatial intelligence, and water-recycling technologies.

Among the selected companies are Norway’s Fieldmade, the UK’s JET Connectivity, US-based Mesodyne and SkyFi, and Estonia’s Spacedrip.

Their technologies range from mobile additive manufacturing systems and AI-enabled 5G mesh networks to portable power generation, Earth observation intelligence platforms, and autonomous water-recycling systems designed for remote and austere environments.
