Leidos has signed a contract worth up to $717 million to extend intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance support for the US Air Force’s Air Combat Command.
The deal expands on a 2019 partnership with the military to deliver live and accurate data relay in support of air, space, cyber, and intelligence operations.
The latest task order will see the Virginia-based firm oversee intelligence, training, threat mitigation, and related mission support services to ACC headquarters, subordinate Numbered Air Forces, centers, and wings.
Activities will span 35 locations in the continental US and overseas, positioning Leidos personnel alongside warfighters as an embedded team for daily missions.
The contract will run for one year and includes an option for four additional years.

Latest Defense Projects
Leidos’ ISR support contract comes amid a series of major defense awards and industry partnerships to strengthen military technology and mission support.
In April, the company won a $456-million, four-year award through the General Services Administration to continue managing Military OneSource, which serves as the Pentagon’s support network for service members and their families.
That followed a $455-million contract in March to modernize the US Air Force’s Cloud One platform alongside major commercial cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle.
Leidos has also expanded its defense partnerships this year. In July, the company teamed with Rune Technologies to integrate artificial intelligence platforms to help commanders in the Indo-Pacific anticipate logistics bottlenecks over vast maritime distances.
In February, the company paired its UpHold Armor platform with RegScale to automate cybersecurity compliance across defense agencies, launching first with the US Air Force.
