New Zealand Joins US-Led Push for Shared AI Battlefield Command
New Zealand has become the latest member of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance to join Project Arcadia, a US-led initiative to build a shared battlefield command network for AI-enabled military operations.
The effort aims to improve battlefield data sharing and AI-enabled command and control, helping allied forces make faster operational decisions.
According to RNZ, New Zealand’s government will seek cabinet approval to fund the initiative as part of the country’s broader digital modernization efforts.
