Oshkosh Defense has signed multiple contracts worth $142 million to provide its Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) A2 for the US and international partners.
The deals include systems in their 4×4 cargo, 6×6 cargo, and long wheel base variants, designed for sustained long-range logistics across complex terrains.
The firm did not disclose specifics of the shipment timelines, quantity, or end users.
“The continued demand for the FMTV A2, both in the US and internationally, reflects the platform’s ability to perform across a wide range of missions and environments,” said Pat Williams, chief programs officer at Oshkosh Defense.
“Our international customers require vehicles that combine durability, flexibility, and advanced capability. The FMTV A2 delivers that performance while aligning with the operational needs of modern forces.”
The awards follow another large FMTV A2 contract earlier this year, which stipulated 97 vehicles in the system’s low-velocity airdrop configuration for the US Army.

Oshkosh’s FMTV A2 4×4 cargo vehicle is built with a 6,000-pound (2,722-kilogram) payload capacity, a maximum carriage space of 146 cubic feet (4 cubic meters), and a top speed of 62 miles (100 kilometers) per hour.
Meanwhile, the FMTV A2 6×6 truck can haul equipment weighing a total of 16,000 pounds (7,257 kilograms). It has a cargo space of 165 cubic feet (5 cubic meters) and can travel at 60 miles (97 miles) per hour.
The long wheel base, offered as the 6×6 subvariant, has a trailer space of 238 cubic feet (7 cubic meters) and features a crane to lift materials weighing up to 10,000 pounds (4,536 kilograms) at heights of 12 feet (4 meters).
